| It was my birthday a couple days ago. I celebrated by doing a take-home test.
Also, GP came over when she got out of work and gave me my birthday gifts. I recieved "The Wall" by Pink Floyd, an album that I wanted for quite some time. I also recieved a brand new watch. It's pretty awesome too. It's from Fossil, rated for 100 meters and has an 11 year warranty. The face is light silver in the middle and then fades radially to black on the outside. Anyways, I like it. She's also taking me out to dinner tonight to the Beltline Bar. We usually overeat when we go there. A typical meal between the two of us consists of splitting an order of chips and salsa, our own humongous burrito and then splitting an order of fried ice cream plus any drinks we get. Basically we take gluttony to a whole new level.
On another birthday related topic, I think that's the one nice thing about facebook. Everyone knows it's your birthday, so not only do they post a nice little message to ya, but also when I was just walking around school people that otherwise wouldn't have known it was my birthday were wishing me a happy birthday. It's nice. Other than that I find facebook creepy and boring. What's there to do other than ask more people to be your friends? Or poke them? Or post on their wall? And as far as the creepy thing is concerned, do I really need to know that "Rick Dergens just picked his nose and was amazed by what he found" or "Steve Sansabelt is wondering why his pants won't fit him anymore." Maybe it's just me, but that will only entertain me for a few minutes per month. I suppose it's much like this Xanga thing. It entertained me for a while, then I just got bored with it. We'll just have to see if it re-entertaining me lasts or not...

| Happy 21st Birthday Yug! I hope you had a good time. Drink lots of water.
Also... Happy 23rd Birthday Matt! You're a funny guy. And probably the best person at fantasy basketball EVER.
| ehh, maybe it's time to do this thing again. a bunch of stuff is different and some stuff is the same since my last post. the same stuff: the Grand Prize and I are still going great; never been happier. she's been busy with work though, taking care of a couple of near full-time jobs and a recently acquired coffee-addiction. school still sucks. I doubt that will change until grad-school. I'm still planning on grad school. my nephews are still pretty awesome. I think Bodie will probably turn out to be a genius. it's too soon to figure out Eli, but if I had to guess, I'm thinking major league pitcher. with such uber-talented kids I only hope they don't end up like the Tenenbaums. the different stuff: I'm going to go to school a fifth year. it's a slight blow to the esteem, but I guess it's for the better. I'm planning to move in with some old friends from 2nd Beets for this coming school year. I've been playing fantasy sports this year. I had a pretty good team in football, but they pooped out on me in the end. however, my brother did win it all and took a nice $200 home with it. in fantasy basketball I am currently in third place, but my team has suffered a lot of injuries. I'm looking to make a solid run for the playoffs and my team should be deadly come March. I think that's all the important things. I'm sure I forgot something really important about somebody in my life and they'll get really pissed off and ask me how on earth I forgot about it because it was some life-altering immaculate event. so, to that person, I'm sorry I forgot to mention how we saved 15 school children from a burning bus together, or overtook a plane full of hi-jackers together with both our hands and feet bound and had to land the plane, steering with only our mouths or whatever world-altering event I forgot, sorry. | | |
| I am going to take a break from xanga for a while. My posts of late have neither been humorous, intelligent, nor important. I don't think I will be done with it for good, just for a while. Don't worry loyal subscribers, we are not breaking up, only taking a break. I will return someday when I can be a better poster. Otherwise, consider this your last post for quite some time. I love you all. It's not you, it's me. I am doing what is best for us... yadda yadda yadda...
Peace.
p.s. Congratulations to Jag and Glasmiri! That's awesome.
| Tomorrow I leave for Columbus. Rather, it's today. Friday. On Friday I leave for Columbus once class is out. I will be seeing all of Grand Prize's friends and her school from her past life. I don't know how that's going to go. I don't really like Columbus. Of course, all I know about it is that Ohio State University is located there, which I don't like. GP seems to like the city though. In general, I tend not to like cities so much. I am more of a suburbs kind of guy. I think cities are nice to see, but ultimatly I wouldn't want to live in one. Anyways, maybe I will update about the trip later. Maybe. | | |
